Spring awakening on the organic farm Samer in Nova Levante
Every season is special at the Samerhof in Nova Levante. When in spring the snow melts on the meadows and the first flowers bloom underneath, life on the farm awakens from its hibernation. The birds return to our farm from their winter quarters and the calls of the cuckoo tell us that spring is coming to us, too.
Spring hiking – Welschnofen/Nova Levante
When in spring the high-alpine trekking trails are still covered with snow, you can go on many hikes at lower altitudes. Numerous themed walks invite you to explore the multifaceted landscapes and cultural attractions of the surroundings. The walks offer a wide range of topics, from farms to myths and planets – there’s something to suit everyone’s interest!
Nature and culture
Trips to destinations of cultural interest in the Val d’Ega/Eggental can be easily combined with short hikes. Visit attractions such as the planetarium, the observatory and the solar observatory in the neighbouring village of San Valentino/Gummer, the museum in Collepietra/Steinegg, which depicts the history of rural life, the impressive Cornedo Castle/Burg Karneid, or the church of St. Helena in Nova Ponente/Deutschnofen, famous for its frescoes.
